Currently living on the south shore of Massachusetts, Mark retired from a successful corporate career to pursue his passion of the arts. His early life influences came from his father, Harold Streifer, a lifelong impressionist artist living in upstate New York. Mark was formally educated in music from Berklee College of Music.  Upon his retirement he relocated to Plymouth, and was encouraged and mentored by fellow photographers and artists to open his mind and heart back to the arts. He found inspiration and passion capturing images of the wildlife and landscapes of the region, while relying on the improvisation and characteristics of jazz to express his exploration of colors and styles.
